The "downtrodden" undermining the downtrodden

I just can't keep ignoring Kowalski's affront to real mentally disabled people who really have to deal with getting services from one's government due to really needing them. She's been implying lately that she is really impaired, partly by claiming that she needs government benefits and even a caregiver from the government to visit her, while what she writes about herself belies any such need. She was complaining that her caregiver hasn't visited in a while and that she needs help applying for benefits. And now she claims she has a cleaner. I bet she doesn't consider how ironic it is that she complains of living in a nanny state, while the goals she moans in favor of would leave real disabled autistics permanently beholden to and dependent on the same kind of nanny states she mentions.

She knows it would appear extra brutal and mean if she railed against the need of cure of the truly disabled on the spectrum, if she was known to others as someone who isn't impaired and is highly capable. I can still tell what a monster she is. If only she didn't portray herself as a downtrodden and unfortunate member of some underclass, I wonder how she would bolster her credibility to talk so much about issues of mental disability, especially of her nonsensical incessant application of banal identity politics to autism. There isn't much else to see in what she writes besides ableism this, ableist that, amongst other drivel she rants about. Why should she be considered as being serious with real disabilty issues while she rants on so much about unrelated issues?

This liar even claimed that successful autistics are all throughout the spectrum, due to perseveration, as if nobody on the spectrum is deprived of the mental resources needed to produce success. From that, one would likely conclude that unsuccessful ones just need to keep at what they're trying to do and to try harder, and that highly successful ones just succeeded due to persistence and not due to starting out with a high amount of potential which they didn't work for. I think the ones with impairments have struggled enough. This woman is extremely disgusting to me. I hope there aren't too many out there who are convinced by her distortions, as that would prevent true progress.

  1. I want to know how it is that all of these autistic people on the internet (e.g. Amanda Baggs, "Kowalski," etc.) get so much help (a freaking cleaning lady and "Nanny" for Christ's sake) and yet I still have absolutely nothing after a couple of years on a waiting list (and who knows who much longer I will be on it).

Granted, I realize "Kowalski" lives in Germany so perhaps the health care over there is much better. But that doesn't explain Amanda Bagg's (and others) world class health care.

I understand needing help filling out forms because that crap is complicated. But I don't have to do much of it anymore because I began getting benefits from the government before I turned 18.

Don't say this because they'll just tell you that you are "jealous" of them. (Duh. I wish I wasn't disabled).

I think they're running out of excuses. I don't think being considered jealous necessarily needs to be avoided. I think the kind of "jealousy" involved would be a just one, considering there is one group that has so much, and another group that is so deprived of the things they need to live comfortably and pursue their ambitions, and that those who are lacking in capability and wanting the aptitude that the fortunate group has, are no less diligent in working to get things, and have struggled a lot. If those who are successful weren't successful, I'm sure they would have a different viewpoint of the issue.

  3. Stephanie, Amanda is nonverbal and sometimes uses a wheelchair, so she appears to be more severely autistic than you may be. Of course some say it is all an act for the purpose of getting this help. After all, she was apparently a typical teenager then lost her speech gradually during the period of adolescence and adulthood, supposedly because of catatonia.

You are probably too ethical to commit welfare fraud. This might explain why Amanda gets more help than you do.

  4. @Jonathan:

If you get Medicaid as an adult and need such services from the government than it doesn't matter much HOW disabled you are. There are people with profound autism who don't get services and are put on a waiting list.

Amanda also lives in Vermont and apparently disability services there are some of the best in the country.

I wonder how long she was on a waiting list? I wonder if she even knows that such a list exists?

  5. Amanda also lives in Vermont and apparently disability services there are some of the best in the country.

That is probably why Amanda left California and moved to Vermont and why her g/f Laura lives there. I suppose you could consider leaving south carolina, but I've been to Vermont and it gets pretty cold there in wintertime.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I wouldn't be able to live in Vermont because no one in my family lives up there. And you can't get services unless you live there. And I can't get a lawyer because I have no money.

I like Vermont. I've been there in the winter and it is cold. But it's great in the fall.

But I might like it here better.

  18. Timelord doesn't exist either, Its just a fictional character invented for the BBC and mimicked by obsessed nutjobs

  19. "Gentlemen, Darian does not exist. He is a sockpuppet for Jake Crosby of Age of Autism." Anon, do you have any evidence for those claims?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Jake's college revealed this to me. He's been planning it for some time. The attitude is identical even if the background is not. It has been invented.

  26. I am not sorry for the nasty things I have said to certain people. I am a better person already because the nasty things I say are true and deserved. I do not wish to be cured because I can't be cured.

TLPG - the genuine article (and if Cresp doesn't want legal hassles - that impersonation should be removed forthwith).

    ReplyDelete
  27. Phil, you're a pathetically awful person who is a disgrace to other persons. You're full of shit in what you say, and make hardly any sense. You won't consider your own foolishness, and are too obsessed with yourself. I'm not removing an obvious hilarious joke, which wouldn't actually occur. Don't try to intimidate me.

  29. Impersonation is against Blogger's AND Google's TOS. Whether or not you find it funny is irrelevant. If you don't remove it you can lose your blog completely.

It's a simple choice. Remove the comment and keep your blog. Don't remove the comment and lose your blog. I know which of the two I'd choose.

  31. Nice to see that you've thought of an opportunity to try to silence me Phil. The authorities have to deal with real out of control violations, not someone making a silly comical impersonation that like nobody would believe is you. Nobody would believe such a brief and blunt statement from someone with a reputation like yours would ever occur.

I read Blogger's rules. It says they don't forbid parody and satire, but to avoid content that could mislead readers about the identity.

    ReplyDelete
  32. The post is intended to mislead. Practical fact with legal back up by precedent. Any form of intentional misleading can not be in any way described as parody or satire, and further there are also precedents forbidding parody and satire when it comes to psychological conditions - and terminal conditions just by the way. That's why a TV program out here that tried to mock terminally ill children was taken off the air for two weeks and then was axed just a few weeks after that.

You're out of control and I can prove it in a court of law if required. Plenty of people would be prepared to believe the statement to be from me and use it accordingly. That is detrimental behaviour that is prohibited under Blogger's and Google's TOS as hate speech.

I'm not trying to silence you for this. It's a simple choice as I said - just take down the comment. End of issue.

    ReplyDelete
  33. You are so full of rotten shit! You don't have any legal backup. Read what I said before and have someone tell you what parody is. I didn't even make the comment. There aren't any precedents criminalizing parody and satire. I don't care the way it is out where you are. In my country, thought police don't have the immense grip that you want. Prove what in court? You have an excessive sense of self importance to think someone should be brought into court cause they're making fun of you.

I'm out of control?! You're out of control! I've heard of the things you've said! I've heard of your harassment against others! Now that you can't cause trouble for Best, you're going to try to do it to me.
"Plenty of people would be prepared to believe the statement to be from me and use it accordingly." Bullshit. Fuck your "hate speech" bullshit which is censorship in disguise.

    ReplyDelete
  34. That comment alone is full of hate speech, which goes to show you have no idea what it is. That makes you dangerous and yes - out of control. How many blogs have you been banned from again? Last count I think it was over 20. I'm only banned from 3. Says plenty. You are responsible for all content on this blog under Blogger's TOS - and that includes comments made by others. Your country's laws don't apply in this case. Publication has occurred in Australia and not the US. Again - there's precedents for that.

I can most certainly can cause trouble for Best just for the record. He's in a lot more trouble than you are.

Look up "The Chasers War on Everything" if you think parody and satire is protected.

This is your last chance. If that comment is still there on Monday my time, you'll be hearing from lawyers.

    ReplyDelete
  35. There is no such thing as "hate speech"! I'm sick of your controlling mindset! Maybe me and others are sick of the unjustifiably hateful bullshit coming from your side! I'm sick of this crap that I'm so dangerous and out of control for expressing disagreement with the decision makers which makes me guilty of "hate speech", which is defined as whatever the elite decision makers want it to be considered.

I don't give a fuck what those scumbags think who banned me from their blogs! You're not morally superior because you agree with them! How the hell did publication happen in Australia? If it didn't, I'm pretty sure parody and satire are protected by the 1st Amendment.

If he is in so much trouble, why have you after all this time not succeeded against him? Why should you get to silence anyone who makes fun of you? I've had it with the dictatorial aspirations of your side with their belittling of any different idea.

    ReplyDelete
  36. "How the hell did publication happen in Australia?"

When Phil (or anyone else) uses their Internet Browser to read this site. It's Australian law that applies, dumbass!

    ReplyDelete
  37. If that's how publication happens, then which other countries' laws am I bound to? What if someone in some dictatorship views what I write with their browser and doesn't like it? What can they have done to me?

    ReplyDelete
  38. If you break their law they can do plenty, Cresp! ALL other countries laws are applicable as long as they have access to the Internet. In my case - it's Australian law.

You've still got until Monday my time to remove it. That is now 48 hours away. Impersonation is illegal and parody & satire against a person with a disability (legal interpretation) or a terminal condition is also illegal. Remove it - or I will be geting your whole blog removed.

    And while I'm here;

If he is in so much trouble, why have you after all this time not succeeded against him?

It's just a matter of finding the right legal method to use. That is what has taken the time, and of course I have to have a cause of action - a specific one.

And there is such a thing as "hate speech" - even Google recognise it. It's in their terms of service!

  50. "If you break their law they can do plenty, Cresp! ALL other countries laws are applicable as long as they have access to the Internet."
Well, I guess I can worry about getting executed in various ways and being shut away in some filthy jail.

"Impersonation is illegal and parody & satire against a person with a disability (legal interpretation) or a terminal condition is also illegal." Phil, I detest the idea of such special privileges for anyone who gets considered disabled, which I think are patronizing.
